August busy days begin

We were invited to the Children's Discovery museum and the kids still love it. I crawled through a little tunnel so that I wouldn't lose a kid. Those tunnels still give me a panic attack, especially with how busy the place was today. No one got lost today and only one fit when I didn't walk into the souvenir shop. Phew.

 The hurricane machine was a hit. Hair flying and squinty kids, hilarious.

 

  

First soccer practice of the season. We pulled out our wallets and put her in an official team this year instead of church ball. She was in love after tonight. Now I am a soccer mom three days a week.

 

School haircuts! JcPenny's isn't doing their free deal this year but they were $10 a kid so I obliged. My kids like the big salon feel and two out of the three closed their eyes and took in the whole experience. They are my kids after all. Then we picked up their new glasses! They were $25 a piece! Couldn't beat that, so we got two pairs for the fiesty one who likes to lose them. We are ready for school and the hustle bustle of life. Right?
