The girls quickly hurried me to the backyard to show me something. They climbed on the picnic table and turned their backs to me. They began singing different parts back and forth of a song I had never heard before. "Rae, Rae come back to us. . . . . We are older now and miss you. . . . " The sun began to set and the sky turned pink. The first star began to glow, they smiled and began to shout, "It worked! We saw Rae!" . . . . . .Little hearts do not forget, and either does this big one.

3 vials of blood they took from my baby this morning. So sad. Allergy testing is beginning to run in the family.
In other news, I got a new camera. YAY! by trading in my broken one and upgrading. Love that coverage at Office Max.

And took the kids and my husband to their first UNLV basketball game. . . for free. The oldest was more aware of the height of the bleachers we were in then the game, the middle child pretended to have pom poms the entire game, and the youngest loved clapping them on. It went way better than expected and we were able to see them reach a score over 120!

Look at the zoom action! Love my new camera. Photo skill by Calvin, this is what he did the whole game. There are a lot of these shots.

What made my day. . .

While standing in line at the store, the lady behind me said"Wow you're kids are really close in age!" I turned around confused, in return shocking the lady, that the other child on my hip was in fact my adopted doll. Definitely made my day!

Suprised faces, loving hearts, friends and family. . . . Merry and Bright!

And she said YES!

Christmas Eve

Our tradition is to get together at Gma's for pizza and then we load up 5 cars and go bowling. We bowl until the kids get good and grouchy. Then we let them unwrap a new pair of pajamas and take the long way home until the children's heads bob in the backseats. We put cookies out for Santa and kiss them goodnight.

more December happenings

Bellagio, Opportunity Village, a first dance recital, neighborhood lights, and a live Nativity show has kept us busy and in the Christmas spirit. I am so grateful for all of the free events I can do with my children. It is a magical time of year!

Camera found. We are back in action!

This was our first year going to Macy's to put our Santa letters in his mailbox. The man himself was there. My children were so impressed to meet the real one, not his helper with a fake beard. The whole staff from the actual Macy's parade, including the lady elves were so sweet. It was just like a scene in a movie.
Little man had different thoughts about him. . . .

We have been doing the normal hustle and bustle that the season brings, so many things to participate in. Love them all.

Craft night at school was fun. Little man loved decorating the cookies. The community knive didn't last long at our table.

Hope you are enjoying your families!
