Waterpark (from a non smart phone point of view)

The Tropical Breeze Park has a playground pirate ship and he is the captain! He uses his pirate voice, yells Matey! And kicks people off of his ship. It is the best entertainment there is. Love it.

The pallet wall is growing.  Anything to add character and color to the backyard.

Won't you be my neighbor?

Always wanted to borrow a cup of sugar from a neighbor. . And today we got the chance to ask for a cup of milk. . . Because our gallon ended up staying in the car overnight. Ever have one of those moments? 

Backyard

Meet my pallets. They have found a new home covering the ugly brick throw pile we inherited with the house. I love them. I am on the prowl for a few more and then perhaps a cute mural is needed on the wall. We have been rummaging through things at my parents before the big move and the kids have been treasure shopping. My brothers old cage is a new hit. They have been making habitats for any toy with eyes. So funny to watch children's imagination in progress.

Chris Farewell

 This boy is heading off to the Missionary Training Center Wed! Then off to Mexico to spread the word of Christ. He spoke in church on miracles, but I know the miracle today was his whole family sitting on a pew for the first time ever. His tears were a flow of overwhelming love from his support system on this earth and from above. So adios Chris! May the force be with you. . . . .

ps. I brought those awesome sombreros and mustaches! The Jones brought the feista to the party.

Pioneer day!

 Green Valley Stake puts on a parade every year with activities and food of course!

And then we were hot and tired. Later we go to the North Stake for fireworks.. .  which finished right before the rain! Talk anout running to your cars!

Our play date today

I thought it would be fun to visit Petland. Fun! Until we left crying for a puppy. Fun day fail. My poor animal loving children wanted them all. 

Meet our horny toad friends. . . .

They stole the girls hearts from the moment they set eyes on them. And they went everywhere we did the whole weekend. On trail rides they joined in the dashboard. They even enjoyed the parade. Such bizarre love.

Mammoth Caves! We found a different friend.

And then we bid our new friends farewell with only a few tears shed.
