When you lose someone you overthink everything you ever did or said to them. For five years I have been guilt tripping myself over those memories of fighting and crying with my sister. But this year my heart has changed. I miss that relationship. Not the one we could've should've had, the one that was raw and real. When one of us was being a brat we made it known. When we were proud we said it. I miss that in my life. No silly games or pity praising to be a friend. We already were that. I know my sister knew that I loved her then and that I love her still. And if she didn't, I am sure the Big Man Upstairs surely would have relayed my message by now lol. I miss what we had. She was truly irreplaceable.

This is how I feel lately. In a funk. I feel like I missed the awkward stage after high school when you realized you were an adult and it is just hitting me. My daughter just turned six and I have been married for nine years this month. Do I have to start dressing like a grow up now? My husband is still trying to decide what to be when he grows up? We are still goofy kids ourselves. What is my place? Is it possible to go through puberty twice? Or have a mid-mid life crisis? I am funny. Insert laugh.

My daughter is in love with this dog. It is her dog and she is his master. She leashes him and takes him around the house. Sometimes he is tied to her chair at dinner, or sitting in the recliner under a blanket with her. They are a pair. And these are 4 out of 200 photos taken of her partner in crime when I found the iPad under her pillow. I love her character. I love how responsible she is with Noodle, even if sometimes it is a little extreme. Like when she caged the dogs in the trampoline while they enjoyed lunch on the patio. Pure silly. Love.
