First day at our new ward. It is small and we stuck out like sore thumbs. But it was good! My children made friends and everyone was welcoming. My son was mot kicked out of nursery. The Lord knows where we are needed. 3 families are moving out and this week we were 1 of 3 families who moved in. Coincidence, I think not. But getting out of church at 4:30 is hard.

Epic fail
So we moved in! And someone (me) forgot to call the gas company. So we took showers at my parents house in between loading more of our junk home. Then the gas was scheduled and we were excited to use our own bathtub until... The water was shut off. Epic fail. So we flushed toilets with a bucket of water for a day and a half. I felt like I was on Money Pit. (Please tell me you have seen that movie!) I think I have all of our utilities figured out now. The power is still on:)

4 days in of cleaning and painting. Next on the list is board up some of these cat doors. The total count is 4! Brought the children today. Our babysitter needed a break. What good little helpers they have been. Wiping and breaking shower curtain rods. Now we are blowing some energy off at Ronald's house.

Wedding bells are ringing
My baby brother got hitched. And I am tired.
Bridal showers were thrown.
Bachelor/Bachelorette parties were given.
The girls went out for sushi. I tried crab. Never again. And then ended up with the boys for some nerd bowling. The bride and groom had no idea why we showed up dressed so weird. So we gave them some accessories as a gift to join in on the fun. Then the decorating and finding dresses for stubborn Gma's took place. What a chore, but well worth it.
Then the big day came and we partied and congratulated and sent them on the merry way to start their life together. Love those two.

Hopefully I signed the last of the documents for our house today.Fannie may had a change of heart and signed an addendum instead of making us resubmitting our contract to them. Phew. Because I have been going crazy stalking our house status on the Internet site! I have wired all of our pennies over and hopefully we will be holding keys in a few days. What a roller coaster.
