Prek winter concert

He sang songs about dredels spinning and where is Santa Claus. Songs from Frozen and Felix navidad were his favorite. He also had the job of shaking bells for one number. 

Afterward we went and volunteered in sisters celebration by scooping ice cream. 

Decorating the tree

Our elf on the shelf Sugar Plum was hanging on the tree outside so we took the nudge to bring it in and decorate it. Decorating around a magical elf that can not be touched is difficult. Tradition at our house is that the kids take turns putting on the star with dad. This year little man was so excited that it was his turn. I don't know why decorating the tree always seems magical.

 I am so glad they took me up on my offer and let me take their photos! Even if we had to do a little trespassing at Lake Las Vegas, it was worth it!

Our annual Christmas photo shoot

 My husband says my sense of humor is a little out there and no one will get the joke behind these, so I will spell it out to you. The new trend is to take a vintage couch out to a grass area in a park or to a desert and take family photos on it. So I did a flash back theme with a couch I purchased at DI for a whole $20. Bonus: it had a pull out bed! So Keep up with the Jones because we started the couch trend before it became popular. So we hauled this ugly couch to a park near our house one Sunday afternoon and set the tripod up and voila! I think we did alright and spread a little joy this season. Our reputation of different cards must keep!
