Accordion

 Every blue moon Grandpa pulls out his accordion that he paid cash for back in the day. . . . and the kids eyes shine with amazement at such a magical instrument. It is the best moment.

Love this spunky kid and so proud she has made the decision to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. She was a fun model for her baptism invites.  . . when she wanted to be. A lot of coaxing was involved until I said last shots.

Cat and Dog party for the 8 yr old

 She wanted a cat and dog themed party. So games included a barking contest, Dog Dog Cat (duck duck goose) anbd Feed the dog (beanbag game into a cardboard box transformed into a dog head). Puppy chow and pupcorn for snacks. And every guest recieved a small stuffed animal and a coloring book. Phew. I think everyone left happy. The bday girl of course decided not to play any games, because when it comes down to it she doesn't like to be watched. That's my girl. Opening presents actually can be stressful being the center of attention ha.

 When my husband has the camera, you get paparazzi pictures. You have been warned and sorry for posting your awesome faces.

Dad retirement

 My dad retired. No more leaning on shovels for him. Now he will lean on couches and walls and old cars.

Elf mischief and school dress up days
