tacky ten partay. . . . because I am very behind. Jan 18th!

 For me and the man's ten year anniversary of saying the I do's, we threw ourselves a tacky ten party, complete with awesome outfits, all you can eat nachos and thee best decor, if I do say so myself. We asked for some donations to go towards a new mattress. But mainly we just wanted to have some fun, because that is what we do best. Even though the crowd was slim to none, the people we love the most showed up with their tackiness in tact and got down on the dance floor with us. Thanks to everyone who has been down this ten year road with us! And on to the next ten right!

My new headboard

Sometimes I am get a crazy idea. Sometimes my husband hops on board with me on the crazy train. I searched on the coveted Pinterest and only found two random pictures of an old mattress being used as an headboard. I needed to make it come to life. I got this old mattress from my aunt, it was my great great (maybe another great) grandpa's. I originally was trying to get my husband to hang it from the ceiling and put lights on it. But he didn't buy it, something about needing taller ceilings. So I began to itch for a way to get it out of the garage. I propped it behind my bed, where is sat for 2 days. And voila. We rearranged the whole room  and I am in love, with the room and the man who made it happen, because he knew my next idea may have been worse.
