Meet our horny toad friends. . . .

They stole the girls hearts from the moment they set eyes on them. And they went everywhere we did the whole weekend. On trail rides they joined in the dashboard. They even enjoyed the parade. Such bizarre love.

Mammoth Caves! We found a different friend.

And then we bid our new friends farewell with only a few tears shed.
3 years ago today we made the greatest decision of our lives. . . and today we were able to celebrate with giving the same opportunity to others. My heart is full. So grateful. The sealer paused to share  his testimony that he knows they are more than just names on a paper. His son went on a mission in Mexico and passed away after he returned. On the anniversary of his sons death he went to the temple to perform sealings , and he did some from the same area where his son served a mission. Not a coincidence. The brother who was being a witness to the work asked if he had a son because he served as a companion to a missionary with that last name. . . The Lord knows us. This I am sure of. He loves me.

duck creek part 1

Stretching our legs on the way to Duck Creek. . . .
We arrive and lock the keys in the van. Saved by a tent pole! He didn't think it was hilarious. Then the adventures begin!

This boy does not hike in a straight line. He wants to go up, sideways and everything in between. Talk about glueing your hands together tight.

Going into the ice cave. The girls liked touching the "real snow"
